Ashlyn | Newborn Portraits | Larkspur Colorado | 2018

     I have been photographing this family for a couple of years now and every time I do they leave my heart so full. We always have such a fun time just laughing, smiling and playing to get the perfect shots. They welcomed their second baby girl, Ashlyn, on January 16th and she could not have been more perfect. Big sister, Ellery LOOOOOVES her new sister and so does pup Ajax who made a cameo for the shoot! 

    I adore the colors we choose for the shoot, we used more bold colors to match the nursery and it was so much fun creating these memories! Capturing this time for this amazing family was such an honor and I look forward to watching them throughout the years! 

Josie | 6 Month Portraits | Larkspur Colorado | 2018

     I have been lucky enough to photograph this little cutie for six months now and watching her grow has been such a treat! Her little cheeks, her chubby thighs and her beautiful smile are just amazing and I loved making her laugh during our session. Josie brought her big sister to her shoot so we got some adoring sister shots and snuggles in as well. I am absolutely loving watching these girls hit their big milestones...this is why I do what I do <3 

Stephanie & Brandon Engagement | Downtown Denver | 2018

     Love. That is the word that comes to mind as I blog this session. 

     I met Stephanie and Brandon at an amazing bar called Mile High Spirits in Downtown Denver and we got a VIP tour of the brewery. This place was SO. MUCH. FUN to have as a backdrop for pictures. It's also special to Stephanie and Brandon as their relationship blossomed here. They had many fun nights getting to know each other  and drinking the delicious moscow mules (seriously try them!) 

     The owners of the bar were so accommodating and loved our ideas. My favorite backdrop there were the wooden barrels. So neat! 

     We continued by just walking around downtown Denver, using alley's and the old brick. Denver is so full of history and culture and the texture of buildings makes for such fun images. Stephanie and Brandon didn't even care when I made them stand in the middle of the intersection of 22nd and Larimer...anything for a cool shot! 

     Our last stop was the Colorado Convention Center/Performing Arts center and that was the most special location. Brandon proposed to Stephanie under the dancing people sculpture...how romantic! 

     This session was one of those "just fun and artistically inspiring" ones. We walked around town just looking for fun spots and laughed our butts off. I wish these two a LIFE TIME of happiness and love! Enjoy. 

Caroline | 1 Year | Cake Smash | Colorado | 2017

     Sweeeeeeet Caroline...you know you just sang the rest :-) I ADORE this little girl. She is a true miracle! Caroline was born with 2 holes in her heart and survived open heart surgery. You would never know this sweet thing had a rough start, with her amazing smile and her ridiculously cute laugh. We started our shoot with Caroline in her pink dress with some hearts in the background to symbolize her amazing heart. She wasn't so excited about her cake smash but we improvised with a bath and she LOOOVED it! 

     It is truly an honor to capture the first year of this little girl's life! She is a fighter and I cannot wait to watch her grow over the years!

Haukeness Family | Family Session | Denver CO | 2018

       When this family contacted me about pictures ALOT had changed since the last time I had seen them! They had moved out of the state AND added a new member to their family! Cora is THE cutest little girl and loved giving her big brother Parker giant smiles. 

     I love watching families grow and this family is so special to me. They waited all the way until Christmas when they knew they were coming back to Colorado to get pictures with me. Talk about all the hearts. <3 

     HAPPY 2018 peeps!!!! Its going to be an amazing year!!!
