Fox Wedding | Las Vegas, Nevada | 2019

Travel to Las Vegas to photograph a wedding...CHECK! Getting the email from this couple asking me to come with them and capture this special time in their lives was a dream come true! Now, I have been to Vegas, but in college..so that tells you my Vegas experiences. It's a completely different place when you are there to work but don't worry I managed to fit in some fun time.
My husband came with me as my second shooter and he did a fantastic job BTW! We flew in on Thursday and the Fox wedding was on Friday, January 1st at the Springs Preserve Botanical Garden and our Taxi driver that was from Vegas didn't even know this beautiful place existed (he thanked us for broadening his horizons.) HA. The preserve was a natural and expanse area of greenery and as well as an epic view of the Vegas strip. It was quite the excitement for me to photograph in somewhere other than Colorado. The desert did not disappoint.
The wedding was simple and lovely. Katelyn and Joey kept everything simple, meaningful and all about them. The dessert table had pictures of their dogs they had to leave at home for the wedding. Did I mention the love birds live in Alaska?! Las Vegas was an in-between destination for everyone in the family and why not have a little FUN at your wedding too!
The day after the wedding Katelyn and Joey wanted some fun pictures on the strip and by the iconic "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign. We loaded up on a party bus with the newly weds along with their closest and most fun friends and trekked around Vegas with them! So. much. Fun.
It was an honor to be apart of this wedding and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
